G80 Autolocking Swivel Hook
Grade 80 safety hook with an auto-locking latch and a swivel eye.
The first part of this hook has the load bearing section of the hook which pivots on the second part. This forms the latch and eye of the hook on a standard Autolocking hook and, the attachment point for the third part - the swivel eye - on this Swivel hook version.
On the back edge of the first part is a small sprung-loaded lever that releases the locking mechanism and allows the hook to open.
When the hook is put under tension, the two parts close, locking into place, making it virtually impossible for the hook to come adrift from the load without being released.
G80 Sling Hook

These hooks have a 4:1 factor of safety and are available for 7/8mm and 10mm diameter rope.
